no pun intended. i just picked up the vinyl version of aphex twin's SAW
85-92, whatever the most recent pressing is. and i gotta say, the vinyl
doesn't sound so hot. seems like a very shallow pressing (or so it seems
to my thoroughly non-technical observations)--rather flat sound. no depth
to it. not like i remember the cd sounding.
anyone else notice this? i've wondered, too, if it's time to replace my
styli (styluses?), but my other records seem to be sounding ok.
